Carnivorous plants in the heart of Java
I found these Nepenthes in the South and Eastern slope of Mt.Slamet, Central Java, Indonesia, during research on endemic primates in there. Kantong semar is the vernacular name of Nepenthes in Mt.Slamet. I have one of the transects that I called “Jalur Kantong Semar”, because I found so many Nepenthes in this area.
